Although we at Retort comply with local regulations like MPCB (Maharashtra Pollution Control Board), national level CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board) as well as global statutory regulatory requirements for production and storage of chemicals and colourants, we still believe in the adage ‘Prevention is better than cure’. You may plant a tree every day, but it’s more important to save existing ones. Our activities are directed towards saving our environment and creating an awareness to do so.

We believe ‘Make a Tree’ is about educating children about the importance of trees and reduction of garbage. Through this campaign we endeavour to inculcate our philosophy into the young generation with cooperation from their alma mater.

Retort’s thrust is always on reduced use and enhanced reuse of resources as well as complimenting waste reduction without compromising on the quality of deliverables. Our MIE (Minimum Impact on Environment) is well executed in all areas of our operations.

Considering it a continuous process, Retort’s Management as well as the team of experts and cross functional members are equally concerned and actively involved in developing better conditions.

In accordance with health being real wealth, relentlessly strive to ensure that every member of our organisation remains mentally and physically fit to handle the responsibilities and challenges of this competitive world.

We mandate quarterly medical check-ups and on-the-job free medical facilities to every single member of the organisation to ensure good health and well-being.

Our Human Resources Management (HRM) team continuously works in close coordination with EHS Team, local doctors and medical experts to nurture and develop systems for optimal health benefit of the members.

Safety First: Each member at Retort is departmentally trained to identify, handle, manage and mitigate any adverse situation that may arise during routine operations.

Safer is Better: The EHS Team unfailingly makes Material Safety Data sheets, TREM Cards and Safety Instructions available to users of intermediates and chemicals.

We have always effectively practised the program ‘Know Your Neighbours’ by continually focusing on our own and others’ safety, along with that of our surroundings.

In staunch denunciation of Child Labour, we at Retort ensure that no child works in our organisation. Obversely, we work with Social workers, NGOs, Schools and Colleges to help underprivileged children get facilities, so that they are not deprived of their childhood or opportunities to a better future.

It is noteworthy that we also provide services to collect empty packages used for our dyes at the customers’ facilities in that country of use. This process has to be done after completing the registration process by our customers/users of our products with the appointed service provider.
