Apart from holding a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from (ICT) of UDCT, Mr. Nadkarni was mainly responsible for establishing and developing business relations with all major oil companies in India. He shared the traits of diligence and resilience with his colleagues, and this enabled the company to flourish.

Having successfully managed the company’s domestic business, he had been solely responsible for all the Domestic Marketing activities. His enormous contribution to the Retort group ensured the time bound and smooth flow of the supply chain established over the years.

Another chemical engineering graduate from UDCT, Mumbai, Mr. Mahajan has been the pillar of the group since its inception. His relentless toil catapulted Retort to the pinnacle of success over the past 5 decades. He is instrumental in managing the finances and technical aspects of the company.

Qualified as a Chemical Engineer, Mr. Gaitonde was a technologist who had specialized in production operations. As Retort’s Technical Director, he made his mark by setting up Retort’s first unit, directing production activities through effective planning and execution and also managing all the units under the umbrella of the Retort Group.

In addition, he had also been a key member of the local chemical manufacturers' association called Tarapur Industrial Manufacturers Association or TIMA, as well as the Joint Managing Director of the Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) at Tarapur.

Mr. Vilas Gaitonde’s adept and alert guidance kept Retort Group working within the set parameters of safety and ecology in the area of manufacturing operations. His affable nature and cordiality with all who came in contact with him facilitated the company’s smooth, stead journey towards excellence and fame.
